Job Description:

The Food Processing Staff will assist in duties assigned by the Processing Manager including but not limited to preparing, making, and packaging of various finished food products for resale.

Essential Functions:

• Follow recipes to produce and package food products to company standards
• Ensure selected ingredients are of quality and accurately weighed to produce finished products
• Thoroughly clean and inspect bottles and containers to be used for final packaged products
• Safely transport ingredients between storage and production rooms
• Properly label all products to comply with legal and safety regulations
• Accurately count and maintain inventory levels
• Maintain clean and sterile processing areas in compliance with a HACCP Program

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to follow safety standards and protocols
• Work in a fast pace environment
• Able to work in refrigerated and freezer conditions of up to 45 degrees
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food processing and food safety handling experience helpful
